LSA Award 2010 - celebrating excellence in climate change management

Now in their fourth year, the Law Society Excellence Awards are a showpiece in the legal calendar. The LSA Award for Excellence in Environmental Responsibility recognises original ideas and significant outcomes from environmental initiatives such as carbon management, energy efficiency and sustainable procurement.

Best practice and innovation in proactive environmental strategy and performance is sought for this award.

Law Society President Linda Lee said:

'I am encouraging the profession to put aside their modesty and submit a nomination. I encourage all types of practices and backgrounds to demonstrate their talents. Winning an award is more than recognition from their professional colleagues, it is also a symbol of quality to members of the public.'

'In these difficult times there is no better way to promote the legal profession than to celebrate the excellence and innovation that exists right across the profession. These awards provide a fantastic opportunity to celebrate what is great about the legal sector. The best entrants will gain the accolade of winning the most prestigious awards in the legal calendar. These awards reflect the Law Society's commitment to the promotion of excellence in the legal profession and I am urging firms of all sizes to enter these awards.'
