Aims and objectives

Our aims and objectives are to:

• raise awareness of climate change and the urgent need for action within the legal sector.
• identify opportunities for the legal sector to collectively respond to climate change risks.
• support the profession in capitalising on emerging business opportunities.
• enable solicitors and law firms to adopt low carbon and environmentally sustainable business practices.
• use its influence to raise awareness and prompt action outside the profession.

To be achieved:

• by producing and signposting relevant tools and resources.
• working with external stakeholders including government, clients and suppliers.
• by facilitating knowledge sharing across the profession.
